GUITAR LESSONS
Electric/Acoustic
I wanted to introduce you to the new course I have developed where I review everything I have studied over the years and present it in a clearer and simpler way.
We will work on these areas:
-Repertoire
-Technique
-Improvisation
-Music Theory & Harmony
- Auditory Training
-Composition
From the first class, my goal is for you to be able to play songs either alone or accompanied in a band context, etc. Therefore, all the exercises, concepts, etc., will be related to songs, which is how you can really see the usefulness of what we are learning.
I will also put you in the historical context so that you understand the evolution of the guitar and why certain guitarists/records have marked a before and after.
I want to convey to you the feeling I have every day with the guitar and I want you to develop that same passion.
No matter what level you have, we will see step by step what you need, everything you want to improve and how we can achieve it to become the guitarist you want to be.

If you are looking for a guitar teacher, if you want to hire me for a tour, to produce your songs or any other proposal you have, I will be happy to answer you without any commitment ; )
ABOUT ME
In 2014, I started giving lessons to several friends to try it out and see if it might interest me as a guitarist.
I couldn't imagine how much it would contribute to me as a musician. Little by little, I developed a way of teaching, and over time, I've come to have my own methodology that works on the areas I believe are fundamental to knowing how to play the guitar or any instrument.
I really love it and learn a lot by teaching. Teaching gives you a very different view of the guitar, you discover music you hadn't heard before, new ways of playing, and you meet people with the same passion for the guitar. It's very enriching to be in contact with the guitar community, it's something I don't want to detach from and is tied to my constant training as many other great guitarists have done before me, like Paul Gilbert, Frank Gambale, or Steve Vai.
Everything we see in class will always be related to songs, which is how you really see the usefulness and practical application of what is being studied.I believe learning should be fun, enjoyable, and without pressure to achieve good results. Having specific short, medium, and long-term goals but enjoying the journey.
That's why you set the pace and decide which area or style you'd like to delve into more or less, and the duration and frequency of the classes.
As for my training, I'm graduated in Rockschool (Level 4 and Grade 8). I studied Guitar at the 21st Century Music School with David Negrón and Javi Castro, and Music Theory and Harmony at the Creative School. I have numerous courses in genres such as Blues, Country, Rock'n'Roll, Metal, or Funk, Guitar Techniques as well as Masterclasses with great guitarists like Paul Gilbert, Keith Wyatt, Guthrie Trapp, or Yngwie Malmsteen. In terms of live performance, I've toured throughout Spain and abroad with various groups but especially with my band Grim Comet.
During this time, I've always combined teaching with live and studio activity. I believe it's essential for developing as a musician. I've participated in various cover band projects, developed soundtracks for short films for production companies that have won awards like the Goyas, and regularly toured with my band Grim Comet across Spain and China as headliners.
Due to the pandemic, I've renewed all my equipment to offer an experience that doesn't differ from face-to-face classes. This has allowed me to have students from outside Madrid and Spain.
If you have any hesitation, I encourage you to try it and you'll see that with my system there's no difference between the two modalities.
